Royal Academy of Dance

The Royal Academy of Dance is delighted to offer adult dancers an intensive weekend exploring repertoire with our expert Faculty. Our Director, Damien Lee Stirk, will be leading the Level 2 group, guiding dancers through the technical and artistic demands required when performing classical repertoire.

Join us for two days of focused training and experience the technical and dramatic challenges required of a dancer when performing repertoire from a classical ballet.

Each day will begin with a ballet technique class, before progressing to the study of repertoire from Kenneth MacMillan’s The Sleeping Beauty. The weekend will culminate in an opportunity to invite family and friends to watch an informal studio sharing of the repertoire on the Sunday.
