    Step into the luminous world of George Balanchine’s Symphony in C with our elegant adult ballet workshop, celebrating the clarity, sweep and musical brilliance of this neoclassical masterpiece.

    This inspiring session invites dancers to explore Balanchine’s distinctive style through choreography shaped by sculpted port de bras and refined épaulement, performed to Georges Bizet’s radiant score.

    Known for its crisp technique, sweeping movement and architectural beauty, this repertoire celebrates musical sensitivity with a rewarding blend of sophistication and flow.

    Led by our Director, Damien Lee Stirk, and accompanied by live piano, the session begins with a classical ballet warm up before moving on to repertoire, thoughtfully adapted for adult dancers.

    Key Information:

    For ages 18+

    General level: Suitable for dancers with at least 2 years of recent ballet training.

    The session focuses on foundational technique and does not involve pointe work, making it accessible for all participants.

    The Ballet Technical 2026

    The Ballet Technical returns to the Royal Ballet and Opera in February 2026, offering a focused opportunity to refine technique, strengthen foundations and reconnect with your practice in the heart of Covent Garden.

    This immersive session is crafted to offer exceptional attention, clarity and artistic detail, giving dancers the space to work with precision, confidence and a sense of occasion from the moment they step inside this legendary and iconic setting.

    Designed for dancers aged 18 and above, the session places emphasis on clean classical work, progressing from a focused barre into centre practice and culminating in bespoke enchaînements shaped directly from the material explored throughout the class.

    The workshop is led by our Director, Damien Lee Stirk, with live piano accompaniment.
