TDSL 13–17: Classical Ballet for Young Dancers

TDSL 13–17 is our dedicated programme for dancers aged 13 to 17, focusing on classical ballet classes, events, and workshops.

This programme gives dancers the opportunity to refine their technique, deepen their understanding of classical ballet, and nurture their passion for dance, all within a supportive and inspiring environment.

Our Director, Damien Lee Stirk, is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance Professional Dancer’s Teaching Diploma, having passed with distinction. He holds Registered Teacher Status [RTS] with the RAD and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate, ensuring the highest standard of professional teaching and care.

    The Studio Experience: Ages 13-17

    Join us for an exclusive youth workshop designed to inspire and elevate young dancers in a world-class setting.

    The morning begins with a classical ballet technique class led by Damien Lee Stirk, Director of The Dancers Studio London, building precision and strength. Dancers will then enjoy repertoire coaching drawn from the prestigious Royal Ballet Archive, deepening their artistry, expression, and musicality.

    All sessions are accompanied by live piano, offering dancers the unique experience of working with professional musicians throughout. Each participant will also receive a complimentary welcome tote bag, an elegant keepsake created exclusively for this event.

    Our team ensures a safe and supervised experience, with dancers signed in at the Royal Ballet stage door and escorted to the studios by our dedicated wardens.

    Key Information:

    For ages 13–17

    Minimum level: Intermediate Foundation RAD [or equivalent]

    Not suitable for beginners, students under 13, or those with limited classical experience

    Participants should be studying a syllabus from a recognised awarding body, or be in full-time vocational training, with a solid knowledge of classical ballet vocabulary

    Limited places available — early booking is strongly advised.
